D’Arne has always had an interest in the human body and anatomy leading her to complete a Bachelor of Science majoring in anatomy through Melbourne University in 2006. After a break from study where she travelled and lived overseas D’Arne decided to return to university, and completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Monash University in 2013.

D’Arne has been working as a physiotherapist for 4 years now and has had the opportunity to undertake work in several different areas. One of these areas is aged care physiotherapy through the brotherhood of St Lawrence, where she has helped older people work towards achieving a more active lifestyle.

Sports Injury Managment is also another area D’Arne has been heavily involved in, particularly through the North Geelong Warriors Soccer Club where she has been employed as the club Physiotherapist. D’Arne worked to assist coaching staff to help with injury management and minimization, along with player education and rehabilitation.

D’Arne has also had the experience of facilitating both individual and group hydrotherapy sessions. D’Arne has used hydrotherapy techniques as an alternate method to help clients manage injuries and achieve rehabilitation goals. Pilates is another interest of D’Arne’s and she has instructed individual sessions along with clinical, matt and reformer group classes. D’Arne believes that Pilates is an excellent rehabilitation tool, which can help people accomplish individual rehabilitation goals.
