Qualifications: BSc (hons) Physiotherapy

A former international and professional rugby union player, Nick came in to physiotherapy as a mature student. During his time in professional sport, Nick developed a keen interest in the body, how it works and how to get it back on track – quickly!

After graduating from Northumbria University, England, Nick spent 3 years as lead physiotherapist for a professional Rugby Union team before moving to continue his work in the National Health Service (NHS). It was here that that he felt his passion to support a change for the better in those in need would have a greater impact.

His final role prior to moving to Australia was as a Lower Limb Clinical Specialist Physio in the NHS. Part of this job involved writing clinical care pathways that have subsequently been implemented within the NHS. These pathways were developed to help promote clinically meaningful change in an evidenced based manner allowing patients to reach their goals in the quickest, most effective manner possible.

Nick is experienced in treating a variety of conditions including; chronic pain, spinal and lower limb injuries, vestibular and balance conditions as well as rehabilitation of post-operative patients.

Nick has post graduate qualifications in Mulligan techniques, Orthopaedic Medicine, Dry needling and Musculoskeletal Joint & Soft Tissue Injection Therapy. His approach to his work utilises these skills & knowledge to develop a personalised treatment & rehabilitation plan to help his patients reach their potential and achieve things in their life that they may have thought were now out of their reach!
